This 600 m-long trail (one way) features several steep areas secured by ropes.
The trail offers several viewpoints over the Faaroa valley, as well as marked endemic plants. Six endangered plants are known on the Faaroa estate, including 2 on the ridge trail:
– the Macaranga attenuata tree, classified as vulnerable to extinction (VU)
– and the shrub Psychotria, classified as endangered (EN).
