Getting here and getting around
A four-hour flight from Tahiti-Faa’a airport brings you directly to Ua Huka. Flights from other Marquesas islands take about 25 minutes, and several inter-island ferries are also available. The airport is located some distance from the main villages of Vaipaee, Hane, and Hokatu, and no shuttle service is provided. It’s important to confirm your arrival and departure times with your accommodation, as they will arrange transportation for you. Once on the island, the best ways to get around are on foot, by bike, or by taxi.
