Marae Tainu'u

One of the most imposing marae of the Leeward Islands.
Situated in the municipality of Tumara'a in the district of Tevaitoa, Tainu'u marae was one of the most important marae in the Leeward Islands. Built with blocks of coral, some of which are 3m high, the marae extends over 50m2. It can be found about a hundred meters from the main road on the lagoon side.
