I launched my vanilla business in 2021, with 1st production in 2023, in order to finance my son's higher education. After 7 years spent in Lyon, France, via classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles d'ingénieur. Today, he is a Telecom Engineer specialized in Cybersecurity and a graduate of the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School in Paris.
He returned to Fenua in September 2024 and is now working for a local bank as an engineer in charge of IT security.
I have been Vice-Chairman of the GIE Vanille de Tahiti economic interest group since December 2023, 2nd Vice-Chairman of the Fédération nationale des vanilles des Outre-mer (Reunion, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, Tahiti) and Chairman of the AIVDT interprofessional association for Tahitian vanilla, with particular responsibility for the PGI Protected Geographical Indication label for Tahitian vanilla.
