Lavatubes De Hitia'a

Superb hiking trail on the hills above the municipality of Hitia'a. It takes the whole day, so you need to take food and water with you. The day starts with a climb in an ATV followed by a 20 minute walk, which takes you to the entrance to the lavatubes. You'll have magnificent views, pools to bathe in, waterfalls to admire, and the chance to take a hair-raising leap into the dark interior of the lavatubes. This hike isn't suitable for people who are afraid of heights or who suffer from calustrophobia.
